    Michael,

I contacted Amazon about my new Kindle Fire’s capabilities. I asked about text-to-speech, and collections. I have these on my dx. They sai they were working on both of those, and also some fixes they want to make on the way the bookshelf works.

Sorry, if I may be repeating something you’ve mentioned,

  2. I’m trying out the Prime membership to see if I find it’s “worth it.” This book was no longer free when I got a chance to check it out, but “available on Prime for $0.0. “However, the price for one click was $28.99. Since I have a Prime membership, shouldn’t it show up as $0 on the “one click.” I am so confused.

I agree, it is a bit confusing. If you click on it from the Amazon website, you will be charged whatever the price is of the book.

However, if you browse for the book using your Kindle, if the book is participating the lending program the title will have a “Prime” badge next to it as well as have a “borrow for free” button on the detail page in the Kindle store. While looking at the book’s details on your Kindle, just click the “Borrow for Free” option.

      Hope that helps!

      Michael
