You may have noticed over the last couple of days I’ve been back to telling you about individual free books vs. sending out one post that says “there are xxx number of free books today and here’s the link.” Why? Because I recognize it’s a pain in the neck sometimes to go through the various categories – especially with a few thousand books being offered for free in the Amazon Kindle store!
To combat that, I went through the free offerings and used some not-so-scientific criteria to select the books I told you about over the past few days: the book had to have a fairly high customer reviews from Amazon verified purchases (didn’t want to have the “buddy review” system taking over) or, if it didn’t have a bunch of good customer review like some of the cookbooks it had to be on a topic I like and I thought you would like (I don’t think you can go wrong on cooking or some of the how-to books), and it couldn’t be erotica, soft-porn, or a book about Vampires (as any self-respecting man will confirm, I’m ready for the Twilight book and movie phenomena to end).
Hopefully, you’ve found some good ones to download and read over the next few weeks.
Well, no matter how hard you try, some folks want to know about all of the freebies in the Amazon Kindle store. Well, as I type this post there are exactly, 3,059 free eBooks in the Amazon Kindle store: over the last three days alone, there have been over 1,000 new free titles added while a similar number have dropped off the list. So, here’s the link for you to click here or type into your computer: http://amzn.to/bookload
Hitting this link with my computer and browsing the available categories is a heck of a lot easier to me than on the Kindle – I’ve been rapid-fire clicking on a lot of things to send to my Kindle. I’ve bookmarked the link and you may want to do the same, also. One important thing I want to point out: the book pricing is very dynamic and is changing by the hour: what is free one hour may not be free another hour, so please make sure the pricing still says free before you hit the “Buy Now with 1-Click” icon unless you don’t mind paying for the book!
Have fun surfing away for the free books if you are so inclined, and I hope each of you have a great weekend!
