The Christmas Bus – Free from Amazon Kindle Store

The Christmas Bus by Melody Carlson is free today from the Amazon Kindle store (previously offered for free in October 2009), and has received an average user rating of 4 out of 5 stars based on 54 customer reviews.  I read this one when it came out for free two years ago and thought it was pretty good – I still think back to it from time-to-time, which doesn’t happen with most books, so it must have been good.  Grab this one while you can!

Here is the book’s description from the Amazon website:

The people of Christmas Valley always celebrate Christmas to the fullest extent. The mayor plays Santa, every business is holiday themed, and there’s a nativity for the kids each Christmas Eve. This town knows Christmas.

But this year nothing goes according to plan. Shepherd’s Inn is full of strangers, Mad Myrtle is causing problems, and a young couple with a baby due any minute rolls in to the middle of town in their Partridge Family-style bus. It’s hardly the holiday Christmas Valley wanted–but it may be just what they need. This charming novella is sure to become a new Christmas tradition for readers who love a great holiday story.

I have no control over the length of time a book is offered for free on the Amazon website, which is why I said to grab it while you can in the original post. Sometimes they lat for weeks, and the other extreme I’ve seen is it is free for less than an hour. The main thing is to verify the price is free (or not) prior to purchasing the one-click button on the Amazon website.

Wish you would fix this message. The Christmas Bus is not free. Reading is valuable, but my funds are limited and books are limited in my purchases
