Amazon has had a series of Star Wars books for free in the Kindle format for about two years now, and they have released #6 in the series just this morning as a free pre-order, which means if you order it now, Amazon will deliver it (for free) to your Kindle on its national release date of February 21st. You can pick up your free copy of Star Wars: Lost Tribe of the Sith #6: Sentinel by John Jackson Miller if you click here.
This was offered for free for a brief period in the fall of 2010 then pulled for some reason (maybe there were formatting errors?), but during that brief time it received an average user rating of 4 out of 5 stars based on 8 customer reviews.
Before I give you the book description as I normally do, and in case you missed the first five of the series, here are links to your free copies of books 1-5:

Here is book 6’s description from the Amazon website:
The mighty Sith dynasty founded on the planet Kesh by the survivors of the shipwrecked Omen has endured for a thousand years—and so has the merciless Sith code, which prizes power above all else. Lady Orielle Kitai enjoys power as the scion of a noble family and member of the elite Sith Sabers. But Lillia Venn, as reigning Grand Lord of the Sith, possesses absolute power . . . and is determined to keep it.When a failed regicide sparks a political—and literal—bloodbath and suspicion falls on Orielle, she is swiftly condemned to slavery by the ruthless Grand Lord Venn. But seeing the cunning power play for what it is, Orielle vows to strike back. And at the ramshackle home of a poor dirt farmer with an astounding secret, she discovers the means to make her vengeance a devastating reality.
The Fate of the Jedi novels introduce readers to a hidden Sith society, living apart from the rest of the galaxy for five thousand years. But how did they come to be? Lost Tribe of the Sith answers that question. Spanning millennia, this series of short stories introduces the original unlikely castaways — and shows how their society was shaped.
The fifth episode, Purgatory picks up the story a thousand years after the fourth chapter, Lost Tribe of the Sith #4: Savior, left off. The Sith still rule on Kesh, but generations of infighting have led to a new class of disenfranchised humans, barred for life from the Lost Tribe. But no one who ever followed Sith philosophies is likely to accept life as a slave, no matter what the odds against them…
To follow the story of the Lost Tribe from the beginning, start with the first chapter, Lost Tribe of the Sith #1: Precipice.
